This project was commissioned by Talgh to develop a visual language capable of expressing the material and technical character of the brand.
Rather than approaching the object through conventional product imagery, the series explores how composition, light, and material relationships can construct a more analytical and atmospheric way of presenting the product.
The brief invited IMPROMPTU to translate Talgh’s formulation-driven philosophy into a visual system where ingredients, technical references, and material presence become part of the image itself.
Instead of isolating the product as a central object, the compositions position it within a field of materials, diagrams, and fragments that suggest both the sensory qualities of the formula and the engineering logic behind its construction.
The creative direction focused on layered still-life compositions where translucent materials, powders, and printed elements interact through light and depth. These visual relationships allow the product to appear not as a standalone object, but as part of a broader material ecosystem.
By working through generative image workflows, the project allowed rapid exploration of compositional and lighting scenarios before refining a final visual direction. This process enabled the development of images that balance precision and atmosphere, aligning the visual language with the brand’s emphasis on formulation, texture, and design integrity.
The resulting series presents Talgh through a contemporary still-life vocabulary where product imagery becomes both descriptive and speculative.
