This project was commissioned by Zara as a series of images to support the brand’s commitment to circularity and long-term value with their Pre-Owned service.
The brief invited IMPROMPTU to rethink how iconic Zara garments could be presented once they re-enter circulation—moving away from the logic of seasonal launches and towards a visual language that communicated continuity, care, and relevance over time.
The creative direction approached each piece as something already familiar, yet still current. Rather than emphasizing trends or styling cues tied to a specific moment, the imagery focuses on form, texture, and presence—allowing the garments to exist in a more timeless register. The result is a quieter, more deliberate way of presenting fashion, aligned with the ethos of Pre-Owned.
By working within Zara’s established aesthetic codes and subtly reframing them, the project builds a visual narrative around durability and intention. The images suggest that value does not diminish with use, but can evolve through time, context, and care.
This series supports Zara Pre-Owned as more than a service—it positions it as a considered extension of the brand’s identity, where image-making becomes a tool to communicate responsibility, longevity, and a renewed relationship with clothing.
